The Idea

While working full time as a studio engineer, two of the biggest problems Nigel, Studio Greenhouse’s founder, ran into were that many of the artists he most wanted in the studio couldn't afford it, and many folks that could get in often had difficulty creating in such a formal and foreign environment. This project aims to solve those problems by providing a free and comfortable experience for artists to work on projects and have a gentle on-ramp to studio recording. This studio is his love letter to music and the people that create it.

The Founder

Nigel Brown is a sound engineer that specializes in recording and mixing both in the studio and live. His formal training came from Ex’pression College for Digital Arts where he graduated valedictorian with a degree in Sound Arts. Nigel’s engineering credits include contributing recording and editing to a Grammy award winning album. He is currently donating all proceeds from audio engineering work to Studio Greenhouse.
